Steven C. Bodner
President

Mr. Bodner graduated from the prestigious Vanderbilt University Civil Engineering School in May of 1979. For the past 28 years has been President of the SC Bodner Company, Inc. specializing in the development and management of apartment and retail properties throughout the Midwest. In the early 1990’s the focus became exclusively multi-family developments. 

Mr. Bodner oversees all facets of the development and management process including the acquisition of property, design requirements, zoning, layout generation, pricing, and the construction of the physical improvements.

Eric Garrett
Director of Development

As Director of Development for SC Bodner Company, Eric Garrett handles the strategic planning and daily operations for all of the SC Bodner Developments. Mr. Garrett has specialized in the development and brokerage of multifamily assets throughout his entire career. 

Mr. Garrett has sold in excess of 9,100 apartment units in 18 cities throughout the country with a value in excess of $637,000,000.  In addition, Mr. Garrett has developed approximately 5,665 apartment units or $793,000,000 in development activity with an additional 5,800 units in various stages of development.  By completion of the current development plan with SC Bodner, his development activity would boast over 1.6 Billion dollars of activity for the company within his six years of employment.

Prior to joining SC Bodner Company, Inc., Mr. Garrett served as a Senior Associate with the nation’s largest investment brokerage company in Chicago and Indianapolis.  Mr. Garrett was Rookie of the Year for the company, a member of the National multi-housing group, and earned multiple national achievement awards.  Mr. Garrett is currently a CCIM Candidate.

Bernie Tuggle
Vice President Finance

Mr. Tuggle brings over 25 years of real estate finance experience to the Company.  His primary responsibility is to secure financing for the Company's projects.   Prior to joining the SC Bodner Company, Mr. Tuggle worked for several large national banks in Commercial Real Estate lending areas.  A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, he also holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago and a J.D. from the University of Denver.

Ryan Watson, CPA
Controller

Mr. Watson recently joined the SC Bodner Company as Controller.  He brings over 8 years experience at one of the largest accounting firms in Indianapolis.   As a Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Watson is responsible for overseeing all avenues of accounting for The SC Bodner Company and all of its entities.  Ryan supervises all operations related to accounting and financing for all developments.  He is responsible for internal budgeting, supervising highly-skilled accounting personnel, financial reporting, and assisting the principal in strategic financial planning and decision making.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Society.

Heidi Galey
Director of Property Management

Heidi Galey brings over 18 years of industry experience to her position as Director of Property Management. Before joining SC Bodner Company, Inc., she worked for several large, publicly-traded real estate management companies in a number of different capacities including as Director of Sales and Marketing, Director of Human Resources and Training, Operations Manager and as a Regional Property Manager for a portfolio of over 3,700 units. Niche market experience includes University Communities, Collegiate Housing and Call-Center implementation. Heidi brings a strong marketing and training influence to the SC Bodner team. She has developed several nationally recognized marketing promotions and is a certified trainer. Formal education includes Regent's College (London, England) and Indiana University.
